Corn Pudding

  • 3 tbls. Sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbls. Cornstarch
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 3 Eggs, beaten
  • 10 oz. Cream Corn
  • 2 tbls. Butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • Dash Nutmeg

     Mix sugar and cornstarch, gradually add cold milk, stirring until smooth.  Add eggs, corn, butter and salt.  Mix well and pour into 1 quart baking dish.  Sprinkle with nutmeg.  Place dish in pan of hot water.  Bake at 300^F for 1 hour 45 minutes until set.
