Homemade Albondigas Recipe

Homemade Albondigas Recipe

Albondigas roughly translate into Meatball Soup.

Now I can’t tell you how good this is, you’ll just have to trust me and make it for yourself.  The directions are extra simple, and it’s very easy to make.  It is rather spicy, so it’s a welcome treat during the winter months.  You can make this tasty treat as spicy as you like, or as mild as you prefer.  This soup is user-friendly, and adapts well to any taste preference.

Balsamic Steak Marinade

As promised, this week is about continuing those great memories through the close of summer.  Now my hubby loves marinades, so I’m guessing that other people do too.

Here’s a great marinade.  And honestly!  It just doesn’t get any easier than this one right here.

Three Cheese Italian Style Chicken Rigatoni

Well it’s that time of year again.  School is gearing up for most of the kids, and summer is coming to an end.  But there’s no need to put away the grill just yet!  There’s still plenty of warm weather, and plenty of family gatherings to share before summer comes to a close.

Here’s is a great recipe that has been around the table at our house a couple thousand times.  I’d like to share it with you, in the spirit of keeping those summer memories coming on strong.

Here’s one of the simplest recipes I’ve used, over and over again.

Raspberry Apple Cider Vinegar Lemonade ~ recipe

Alright, now that you’ve mastered the last recipe, this one will be a cinch!  It’s even better than the regular apple cider vinegar (acv) lemonade recipe I posted previously.

Now I’d love to show you a picture, but alas, I cannot.  First, and foremost, it’s my fault really.  I always forget when I make it to take a picture in all it’s glory.  Sitting there in that pretty pitcher waiting for the first glass to be poured.  And, second, when I do remember :/  It’s usually already gone and we’re on to the next pitcher.

Vicious cycle I know.  But trust that it’s delish!

Pico De Gallo Recipe

There is nothing more satisfying this time of year than having a garden grow.  By your own two hands, you’ve worked the land, nurtured and cared for it.  Now, the garden is growing lavishly, and giving back of all it’s received.

However, I can think of one thing that could, quite possibly, be more rewarding than this.  Walking out to the garden with a basket! (of course being thankful for the bounty you are about to receive).  And moreover, being thankful for recipes like this, that allow you to implement those, oh so wonderful, home-grown delectable.

Let’s Take a walk in the garden..

Trivia Tuesday ~ The Tin Can

Trivia Tuesday ~ The Tin Can

Trivia Tuesday, question of the week…  Everybody ready?
What took hours to make, was made of iron, dipped in tinplate, then soldered closed?

Did you guess the TIN CAN?  Ok, did you really know o.O  … Or did I give it away with the picture.

Well in my quest for the history on the coolest inventions ever made that have changed our lives forever, I came across this great information.  It intrigued me so much, that I’ll be doing a piece on… (Can you guess? :P)…. THE CAN OPENER!  Oh, I’m so excited, I can’t wait any longer.  So let’s get started!
